Stat of the Day

NFL teams are required to have 36 balls on hand for outdoor games and 24 balls on hand for indoor games. 12 balls will also be provided by the manufacturer that are sealed and opened by the officials before the game. These balls are then marked with the letter "K" and used solely for the kicking game.
